Find your passion. Make an Impact. Volunteer!
CAFE 2013 featured 31 local charities, 9 restaurants, and performances by the Tampa City Youth Ballet. There were over 700 attendees and CAFE 2014 will be an even bigger and better event.
CAFE was organized because the youth of today possess enthusiasm, drive, and a desire to help those around them. By harnessing their desire to do good, we can build a stronger community today and a brighter future for tomorrow. The second annual CAFE will bring students, their parents, and local charities together to build these connections. CAFE will showcase charities with volunteer opportunities available for both students and their parents to interact with and gain knowledge on, in a social environment. Students will learn how they can volunteer, where they want to give their time, and what they can do to assist local charities thus building a stronger community while enhancing their own self-worth and building character. The actions taken today will begin them on a life long journey of being active participants in their community and giving back to those who so desperately need their assistance.
